Currently, GroupSpot is setup to send an email 24hrs prior to any event that is scheduled (see attached). These only go to those subscribed to the app and no other list-serv.
If you look at the sender - it shows Onondaga Cycling Club, because this is the name of the club in GroupSpot. The sender is not the list-serv, but comes from alerts@PROTECTED.
This morning there were two events for Sunday - one Paul created and one I created for the Sunday ride (reoccurring) so it sent two emails, one for each.
Yesterday, only one email was sent (for Sat ride). So a total of only three emails should have been sent (to GS subscribers only) for events in the last 24 hours.
Regular member posts do not send an email by default, they only alert in-app. Only events and admin posts will send an email.

It's not just the GroupSpot app. All the GroupSpot posts are now coming through the OCC list serve as well. We've unleashed a posting monster.
