Hello, I’m ride “leader” for this Saturday’s Minoa - Oneida tours. It looks like it should be another beautiful day to ride! A couple of things about this ride: 

1. It routes over a Thruway bridge that is closed due to complete reconstruction. I highly advise against trying to ride across it unless you want the play in Thruway traffic after a 20-foot fall. Attached is a photo of a recommended detour. If you’re not well familiar with the area, this might be a time you print and bring a paper map, just in case. I’m not sure how the detour signs reroute traffic - I just know which way not to go. 

 2. Technically the shortest route is 31 miles. I don’t like riding on Route 5 and Tuscarora because of the heavy traffic, so I’m planning a 27-miler as an alternate for those who want to ride a little shorter and avoid those roads. Attached is a photo of the route and a Ride With GPS link. It’s not in the OCC library so you’ll need a full subscription to access it, but if you ride with me, you’re in luck because it will be the less competitive no-drop ride!
