Hey folks,

I just wanted to send a big thanks to everyone on the race committee.
Although the weather at the beginning of the week threatened a complete
wash-out, it turned in to a perfect weekend for racing.  Out timing
couldn't have been better, as a deluge of rain and wind hit just as we
were finishing packing up the vehicles after the road race.  And for a
little extra fun, we had a visit from the US Anti-Doping Agency this
morning, where I received a crash course in the finer points of drug
testing.

I appreciate the hard work everyone put in, and although our
registration numbers were lower than we would have wanted, we literally
had racers from all over the world participating in the race this
weekend, including a group from Australia.

The feedback I received from everyone was definitely positive, and the
state fair ended up being a great venue for the criterium.  I was also
very pleased that I had a grand total of 1 complaints in my e-mail this
weekend.

From all the conversations I've had this weekend, I know everyone has
lots of ideas on how to improve race weekend next year.  Jot them down,
and we'll go over them at Beers of the World on Sunday July 9th at 4:30
pm.  This will be before the next OCC board meeting.
