Just some thoughts I have about the 2018 race I have been doing a lot of rides with only my Strava as a companion so lots of thoughts jump into my otherwise idle mind

1 We need a sponsor that we can get the race info through out to the public They would be a partner and not necessarily have any financial involvement

2 Condense the crit into a few categories Maybe put all the low number entry categories together in one race early Then do the same with the next group of racers so we might have 5 groups going off in the first race and 4 in the next This could the easily have been done this year What I am getting at, of course, is that we can always back up a start time and that way if we have an unusually large number of entries in one category we would give them a different start time or maybe combine them with the next race This way we all get done early

3 Have the TT after the crit and have a catered party at the venue

The Park is a turn key and Marcellus has repaved the entire road surface which was the biggest objection in the past If we go back to these two venues then we don’t have a drive and both have worked in the past

These are just some thoughts I had Whether we do it this way or not or make it a one day race is irrelevant to me Maybe there is a village that would welcome the crit and TT Who knows As long as we get enough racers to break even we can always maintain the event
