Oh!  Ye of little faith!  

It turned out to be a beautiful night for the Time Trial,  again !!

My confidence in the weather forecast almost jinxed me.  Thundering dark clouds ominously surrounded us to the north and east. And the roads were still slightly wet at Go! time.    The temperature had cooled to a comfy 75 degrees albeit with high humidity.  But, most importantly, the winds completely faded to near dead calm !!   

This made for absolutely the best TT conditions of the year!   Even better than two weeks ago.  Six TTers showed up to take on the fastest TT course in CNY.  All four repeat TTers set PRs last night!

The fastest time was again owned by Tiago Barreira. He slammed the course in a PR time of 23:09 (25.92 mph) - only 3 seconds off of the course record!  Karen Esposito returned to crush her previous PR of 8 weeks ago by 55 seconds to take the Fastest Woman Time of the night with a 26:12 (22.90 mph).   Ken Toscano set a PR by 55 seconds and Sam Sampere set a PR by 53 seconds. Seeing a trend here?   Chuckie D even trekked across to the East side for his inaugural run.  He left very pleased that he had and exclaimed that  "... this is a really fast course...."  (or something like that).   The youth movement continues.  Congrats to Lauren, an accomplished swimmer who is now branching into triathlons.  She rode the course without being clipped in for her 4th bike ride ever.
