It was HOT and CALM last night.     The best way to stay cool??   Go Faster!!

The FMT goes again to Tiago Barreira. He battled calf cramps due to the heat to finish with a time of 24:01 (24.98 mph).  Gordy Pynn, fresh off of the NYS Time Trial Championiships, rode to a PR by 11 seconds with a 24:32 (24.46 mph). The Lows showed up again and displayed incredible consistency by riding almost the identical time of last week with a 22:46, one second off of last week's time and earned the Fastest Tandem (or FHPV) award. Poor Bill Golembieski !!  He streaked past the Lows at the seven mile mark seemingly on his way to a course record, but then unfortunately he missed the right turn on to Black Creek and had to settle for a recon mission. BTW, he wasn't on a TT bike.... just clip-on aerobars on a road bike!

The last scheduled Time Trial at the East location is on September 15th.   The extended forecast looks very good, but we all know how that can change.
