The weather played out as projected.... maybe even better.
The temperature was a balmy 80 degrees, low humidity and a fading 5 mph NW breeze. Solid conditions for a Time Trial!
We had 7 riders roll to the start line - one new TTer... Welcome Al !
Alex Johnson, fresh off of his monstrous 2016 Course Record effort of last week, sliced and diced the course with a FMT time of 23:03 (26.03 mph). For the women, Chandra Russo, continued her weekly improvement by eviscerating the course in her non-aero road bike with a PR time of 25:17 (23.73 mph). She is currently has the fastest woman's time for non-aero bike and is only 5 seconds by Amy Kneale's 2016 woman's CR. Chandra did exclaim that she'll never do the TT again, but I suspect she'll forget the pain and be back for more.
Notes: You may have noticed Al's time and wondered why his ave speed wasn't lower. He accidentally added about 3.5 miles to the course.

Next week is the last scheduled Time Trial. If the weather does not cooperate, I will be willing to give it a go the following week.
