We've been fortunate so far this year to not have to worry about rain. Tuesday broke the mold. The forecast, while not horrendous, did not leave us confident that rain would not hit the course during the TT. Luckily the showers abated until later in the evening. The temperature at TT time was 78 degrees with high humidity. Unfortunately, only two TTers shrugged off the threat of rain and the brisk SW breeze. Hop somehow keeps ticking off seconds from his PR week after ...Continue Reading

This coming Monday, July 27th the Monday night, 6pm, mtn bike ride will happen at the Split Rock trails. We will be parking at the end of Smoral Rd. The gates will most likely be closed but you can park just outside the gates. This is a bit of an advanced place to ride so as usual we will split up into ability groups. Plenty of easy trails to ride. If you haven't seen the rick crusher up close and personal, it's a treat to see it. See you Monday!Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize, Conquer ...Continue Reading

I can't believe the course isn't better monitored. One thing we won't have on our course is mindless spectators walking across without regard for the TTers. *_Conditions at start time:_*Temperature 75 degreesWind ...Continue Reading

Tuesday night brought us the fastest air of the season.... 92 degrees with 50% humidity. The downside was that the TTers had to face off against a 15mph W headwind for the first 3 miles. 5 TTers rolled to the start line. For the first time Hop donned his blazing red "Flash" speedsuit. True to the suit's theme, he sliced through the early headwinds and had enough left in the tank to obliterate his PR by 12 seconds with a FMT of 24:07 (24.87mph). Brigitte was a guest last week ...Continue Reading
