Thanks Tony! What's Tom's choice as an option? Do you need treats brought? ---- "Anthony Baleno abaleno@twcny rr com [occ2]" occ2@PROTECTED wrote:

Hi Everyone,

S + L logo jpgLooks pretty dreary and damp this afternoon as I write this email Not the kind of spring that I like so far The forecast for this coming Tuesday does not cheer me up at all with "Mostly cloudy and cold with a shower" So when is it going to break and get nice? That's a good question but we have to bear in mind where we are Syracuse From the sounds of the forecast we will have a ride this Tuesday it just won't have the best weather Don't give up hope It looks like things will start to warm up over the remaining days of May and the extended forecast for the next two weeks look good at this point Keep your fingers crossed that they are right

We have not had our normal turnouts so far this year but it will get better as the weather improves I have yet to see a "new" rider come out to check out the ride but I can't blame them The weather is a major component of a "great ride" and we just have not had it add this to the fact that new riders are somewhat leery of it all So, I am expecting all you new riders to be out in force once we get to our nice weather Get those bikes out of the basement or garage, check the air in the tires and come out to try the SnE west ride this week These are no-drop rides So take that out of your mind These are just fun rides and good weather can make it real FUN

I expect we will have our usual variety of rides this week with a ride for anyone from novice to hardened rider Just remember to dress for the weather and come out this Tuesday Here are the details

Where: Reed Webster Park, Camillus, NY located on Warners Rd (Rt 173)

(parking lot on west end near tennis courts)

When: Ride(s) leaves at 6:00 PM

sharp; sign-in starts at ~5:30 PM

                                Bring: Your bike, an approved

helmet, water bottle and a strong desire to ride; with the warmer weather, you'll want to stay hydrated

                                Dress: Whatever you are comfortable

wearing on a bike the weather will help dictate this

Remember, in order to ride your bike with us, you must have a bike helmet No helmet, no ride Not a member? Join us as a guest and see if you like what we are doing If you do like the ride, you can join on line at our website or by hard copy We accept registrations at the rides Also, our insurance only allows a guest to ride once during the season It's their rule, not ours but we must enforce it Membership runs January through December

I am looking forward to seeing you all Tuesday evening and having an enjoyable ride Remember, we welcome snacks at our rides bring them to share if you have them

Ciao,

Tony
