[occ2] OCC Tuesday Night Time Trial Results - May 23 - Week 2

This past Tuesday night was a clone of week 1 - 70 degrees with 4-5 mph NW breeze. There may have been a tiny headwind for the initial three miles on Chestnut Ridge. It's hard to determine the overall effect - some riders were faster, some were faster. Let's go with this premise: if you were slower , it was due to the wind; if you were faster, it was due to improved fitness.
We had the same number of riders turn out as last week - 13, but unfortunately only 12 were able to roll out due a pedal issue. Ben almost saved the day with a spare set of pedals, but he would have needed a blow torch to remove the offending pedals.
The fastest rider of the night was, again, Dennis Williams. Dennis sliced through the course in a time of 23:53 (25.12 mph). The fastest women was Amy Kneale, who shredded the course with a 25:38 (23.40 mph).
Thanks again to Nancy Bailey for providing the backup hand timing and another set of eyes at the finish line. Those pesky mosquitoes were still buzzing around, but not as aggressive as last week. No blood transfusion required this week.
