Unfortunately, the weather took a bit of a turn for the worse. The showers are lingering longer than the forecast predicted four hours ago. I am located in Dewitt and it is raining lightly. This cell is supposed to move east and will probably hit parts, if not all, of the the TT course. There is a 40-50% of these showers continuing through the evening.
Given the high humidity and the lingering showers, I don't think the roads will dry out. Combine that with temps in the low 50s.... well you get the point. Not much fun. So, time to punt.
NOTE: Next week we will be at the Lafayette location.
Good luck to the Corporate Challenge runners! Nice temps for an all out effort!
See ya next week.

Well, if the forecast can be trusted this rainy April weather should clear out of the Chittenango area by 4:30pm this afternoon. At which point it will be a cloudy, 52 degrees with an 11 mph East breeze for the next 3 hours or so. This East breeze will provide a nice push for the first 5 miles. And I'm thinking the roads should dry out as well.
I'll post an update later this afternoon.
At this point, we are still a GO!

The forecast for tomorrow evening's TT is looking sketchy again. Whaaat! After boasting about how we never get cancelled for the Tuesday night TTs, we may be looking at two cancellations in a row. I must have really ticked off the weather gods.
Forecast calls for a 70-80% chance of rain and/or T-storms with temps in the mid-50s.
Regardless of what happens tomorrow, we will be moving the location of the Time Trial for the following two weeks (June 13 and 20th) to the location of the Syracuse Race Weekend TT in Lafayette. I will be following up details later this week.
But, firstly, let's hope the forecast improves for tomorrow!
