Mother Nature attempted to make it three cancellations in a row,  but the rain stayed just to the north of our location in Lafayette and we were able to complete the Time Trail rain-free.   The 6-8 mph breeze was from the NW -  a favorable direction on this course. It helps to have a little push up the inclines going out.

We had seven riders roll up to the line last night.    The fastest time was logged by Dave Grieves who sliced the course in a time of 26:20 (24.38 mph).  That time was a PR for him by 28 seconds. The fastest woman was turned in by our guest, Abbie Sullivan.  She eviscerated the course in a time of 27:04 (23.72 mph).  Our fastest women member was Erika Zazzarra with time of 28:20 (22.66mph) donning an aero helmet on a road bike.  Watch out when she gets the TT bike out!

The course was in decent condition. Other than the dirt clumps left behind by a farmer's tractor around mile 6 and a family "ho-down" at the 9.5 mile mark, all went well.
