Mother Nature kept her nastiness to the north of Rt 20 and left us with a decent night for the Time Trial. The 12 mph West wind buffeted the riders a bit on the way out, but much of it was shielded by Bare Mtn on the way back.
Eight riders queued up to do battle with the course. Two others showed up later to practice as well. The fastest time of the night was claimed by Dave Grieves again. I think he likes this course. He clocked a 26:11 (24.38 mph) - a PR by 9 seconds. The fastest women time was turned in by Erika Zazzarra who rocketed her rig thru the course in 27:54 (23.01mph) - a PR by 26 seconds. Jill Walsh captured her 2nd consecutive PR by slicing off another 39 seconds.
Thanks to Chuck for re-marking the course, Gordy for assisting at the start, and Amy assisting at the finish line and for chronicling the events. I've attached some small, lower resolution pics for your viewing pleasure. I think she recruited a new contestant as well!
Next week we will be going back to the Chittenango location.
