Thank you to everyone who sent suggestions for rides – many of you have great options J because of the rain we ended up riding later in the afternoon on the West Shore Trail at Onondaga Lake Park – now thanks to all of you I have some new suggestions for places to ride …

Hey all,

 

I’m looking to go out riding in the morning with my wife – she is a very inexperienced rider – looking for a scenic area within an hour of Syracuse with relatively flat riding surface – dedicated biking trail preferred but lightly travelled roads would be fine – in the 10-12 mile range – any thoughts? Any of the lakes have good dedicated riding paths – not including Onondaga Lake (have done that one many times)?

 

She has a fitness bike and I have a road bike… thanks in advance for your help…
