Apologies again for the delay in getting out the results....    

Last Tuesday there was a 15% chance of precipitation on the TT course all afternoon and early evening.  We beat the odds  I was peppered with a misting shower while sweeping the course.  Unfortunately, it was enough to make the roads wet.  Although some like it and feel that a small layer of water makes for a faster course.... as long as you don't slide off the course when cornering.

The temperature was a pleasant 64 degrees, high humidity with a 6mph NW breeze.  Decent conditions.

Twelve riders showed up to take on the course - three trekked in from the Barnevald area including the Course Record holder. Four of the twelve were first-timers to the course.   Welcome! Good to see new faces! 

It was no surprise that the FMT was course record holder, Chris Welch Jr.  He shredded the course in a time of 21:16 (28.21mph)...  15 seconds off of his course record.  Not far behind was Mark (Markus) Machell with the 4th fastest time ever on the course - 22:04 (27.20mph).  The fastest woman time (FWT) was recorded by Erika Zazzarra.  She managed to equal her time from last week -  24:41 (24.31 mph) -  only 4 seconds off of her PR from two weeks ago. So consistent!    PRs were also established by Chris Welch Sr (by 10 seconds) and Chuck Dominick (by 7 seconds).  

Tomorrow we will again keep an eye towards the sky again.  So far the forecast looks okay for the start time.
