For the 1st Friday in August, it turned out to be a great day to ride in spite of the early forecasts. Sunny, mid-80’s, no rain or pop-up t’storms, a bit of a breeze (14 mph+) and humid; looks like summer is here!
Fifteen riders arrived in Manlius to cycle to Cortland County and back following the Manlius-Truxton ½ Century route covering a total of 732 miles. We just did this ride a couple weeks ago on a Sunday, but most folks today hadn’t done it before except for me, Tom and Tim. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, the scenery was nice, we had no incidents and we all got back safely.
Another Friday in the books… seems like they are going quickly so come out and join us before there are no more! I’ll put in a plug for the Rudy’s ride on August 25 now so you can put it on your calendars. A couple pics from today are posted on our OCC FB page.
