A coolish but sunny evening brought 37 club members to ride around Van
Buren.
The 37 riders covered a total of 1117 miles. 7 rode the short route or
less, 24 rode the mid length and 5 rode the long route.
A couple problems. One chain issue cut ride short, one had 2 flats but
only 1 tube and had to walk most of the rest of the route back (rescued
by the ride leader for the last 2 miles after walking at least a mile
before that).
With the shorter days, the long ride was a challenge completing before
sunset. Of the long riders I saw afterwards, it was good to see they all
had nice lights.
