Hi Everyone,

This is it…the last SnEW of the 2017 ride season.  The weather looks really nice for tonight and it’s very comfortable out.  For all those procrastinators who have been telling themselves that they are going to do this ride, this is your last chance for the 2017 season.  Come on out!  Tonight will wrap up the season and I guess we’ll be going out with a bang…nice weather. 

While the weather can be nice in September, it’s the sun gods that get touchy.  They like to go to bed earlier this time of the year and the sun will be setting at 7:20 this evening.  So, we can’t get in the riding we want in the short time we have and folks (who work or have other commitments) can’t be here earlier than 6:00 PM.  That’s why the season has to end now.  But, there are plenty of weekend daytime rides still on the schedule so…don’t give up.

Looking forward to seeing you all tonight.  As I said in my weekend email, I’ll bring my hybrid and lead a canal ride tonight for those seeking some nostalgia.  See you all tonight. Thanks for your support throughout the season even though it has had a lot of poor weather.
