Some questions, as never tried a trainer:

  1. Is a special quick release needed to fit in the trainer?
  2. Hard to balance?
  3. Is rear wheel raised up and is the bike tilted forward a bit?
  4. Do trainers wear out tires? (put on cheap tires?)
  5. Do trainers provide resistance?  If not, does one shift gears much?
  6. Use brakes as usual to slow down?
  7. How early should one arrive, especially on their first try?
  8. Are trainers hard on the bike?
  9. How long are the classes?
  10. Does one have to keep up with the class or just ride at their own pace?
