Hello all,
There has been some flooding with the rain and snow melt, but I think the bike ride route itself is ok and the ride NOT canceled.
However, for driving to the Ride Start, Route 290 is flooded and closed between Clemons and Minoa Road. If you are driving to Minoa from this direction, then take Rt 257 (N. Manlius Road) out of the Village of Fayetteville. At the stop sign at the Erie Canal parking area turn left on Rt. 290 and a quick right on Minoa Road.
If you know your way around the area is a shortcut into Minoa from Clemons Road, but as there are many turns I won't try to explain it.
That particular stretch of Rt. 290 frequently floods and it is not out of the ordinary for this time of year. It usually lasts a few days, so I doubt it will be open by tomorrow morning.
Here's a link to the news story with a map showing the closed section of Road,
