Well, the weather wasn't nice as I thought it would be for the first OCC Wednesday night ride of the season. The first hour was dry and pleasant, but the second hour of riding had some light rain and colder temps. I guess I'll leave the part-time meteorologist job to Brian and his time trials.
A few riders were involved in a high-speed, touch-of-the-wheels crash. Bodies and bikes got a little banged up, but everyone was ok to continue riding. I didn't see it happen, but I heard it was like one of those Tour de France crashes we always see. Hope the injured have a speedy recovery.
Total for the evening: 8 of us rode between 24-33 miles. Thanks for coming out!
