Hi Everyone,
I apologize for not getting this out to you sooner but I was tied up all day yesterday and could not get to it.
Tuesday was a great night for a ride and you all proved the fact that the greater majority of riders prefer to ride in the nice weather. Dry, sunny and warm brings out the crowds and Tuesday was no exception to the rule. We had a total of 54 members turn out and no guests. These 54 riders logged a total of 1008 miles.
We had our four ride choices as usual. I took out a small group on a 9 mile loop of the canal while Mark Perrin of The Bikery, Roland Pearson, Dean Connery and Al Storring led a good sized group of riders on an easy 10 mile all highway ride. Mike Lyon had a sizable intermediate level group that covered a 21 route while Dale Barnell filled in for Tom Hotaling leading a good sized group strong riders on a challenging 23 mile loop.
Everyone seemed to have had a good time. No accidents or mechanicals were reported after the ride. Lee sent her Toll House cookies as a treat for all the riders.
We’ll see you again next week,
Tony
