We had a fantastic night for the inaugural TT of 2018. Temps in the low 80s with an 8 mph breeze from the NW. The roads on the course have held up well. Marsh Mill is starting to show wear, but is still safe for us.
Eight veteran riders toed the start line. The fastest time was recorded by Alex Johnson with a 24:09 (24.85 mph). After a one ear hiatus, he is back. He was only 3 seconds slower that his first ride on the course in May 2016. The fastest woman time was record by Karen Busse with a blistering 26:40 (22.49mph). Rob Niederhoff had the unfortunate bad luck to flat out in the first mile of his new bike's maiden voyage.
