STILL MISSING
Sometime this past Saturday morning, July 28th, our dog Bert ventured onto North Rd. in Tully.
A bicyclist stopped at our neighbors house to ask if all of their dogs were accounted for as he said a dog had been hit on the road.
Although our neighbors dogs were all accounted for she and her daughter and her friends, thoughtfully, immediately went down the road looking to find the dog that was hit. Although they and numerous others looked up and down the road they were not able to find the dog or any signs of the dog or where on the road the dog might have been hit.
What we would like to find out from either the bicyclist, or the motorist that hit the dog, is where on North Rd the dog was hit and in what direction the dog headed after being hit. It seems like from what we do know that the dog was hit somewhere south of the AT & T phone tower. Another neighbor slightly south, 1/2 mile, of the AT & T phone tower has told us that at one point that morning he saw the dog run thru his yard heading into the woods west which would be towards Rte 11, BUT we do not know if he had been hit at that point or if he came back out of the the woods to head back home and was then hit. Again, if we could simply find out where on North Rd he was hit and in what direction he went after being hit we think that would be very helpful in our search for him.
Bert is primarily black with a white chest and white paws. He can be very nervous and probably would not come to anyone but if anyone does have any information or simply sees him if you could please give us a call or text at 315 - 399 - 8907.
Thank You.
