Sorry to take so long in getting this out to you but here goes.

We had 38 members and 1 guest for a total of 39 riders on a hot and humid night.  they rode a total of 720 miles for the night.  Dale Barnell led the experience rider group on a 23 mile route while Mike took his intermediate group on a 20 mile loop.  Mark Perrin of the Bikery  with the help of Roland Pearson and Al Storrings took their easier all highway group on a loop that covered 10-15 miles depending on rider choice.  I had the canal/highway loop and we rode 10 miles.

I got the following email from one of our riders following the ride:  “Did anybody report finding a gold color medical pill holder in the parking lot?...”

If you found Rick’s pill case, give him a call.  Other than Rick’s lost pill case, there were no mechanicals or flats reported…just a couple of complaints about the heat.  Oh well, it is summer in Syracuse!

Please note:  Next week is the last ride of the 2018 season.  I can’t be there nor can Mike.  So we will need to have someone stand in for Mike with the intermediates and someone for me on the canal if there is anyone who comes out for it.  Whoever fills for me will need to handle the sign-in sheets for members and guests as well as make the announcements before the ride.  They will have to send out a ride report following the ride.  I usually scan the sheets and send them to Don Butler after the ride.  If you don’t know his email, send them to me and I’ll forward.  I also need a copy for my ride file.  I’ll send out the ride notice on Sunday,  whoever is stepping in, let me know and I’ll get it in the Sunday announcement. 

BTW, the other option is no ride.
