Hey folks,

We're just a month away from our annual cyclocross race, the Salt City Cyclocross Spectacular!  October 20th and 21st at Longbranch park.  Whether your're racing or not, come out and join us on Heckler's Hill to watch all the fun.

New for 2018; if you've never raced, but want to give cyclocross a try (you should), the first race each day starts with CX skills training with USACycling coach Noel Bonk, followed by a few fun laps around the course.  You can join in a full race later that morning.

We can also use some help with the event, especially setting up the course on Friday (Oct 19) and teardown on Sunday afternoon.  Some extra hands make this a quick process.  Please let me know if you can make it or sign-up on Bikereg (https://www.bikereg.com/syracuse-cx-volunteer-signup)

Welcome to the 2018 Salt City Cyclocross Spectacular!

Presented by the Onondaga Cycling Club & BonkWerx Coaching

The weather finally has a hint of Fall (kind of), and your local coffee shop has started serving drinks with a heavy dose of pumpkin, which can only mean one thing.....Cyclocross season is here!

Warm-up your cow bell because our long tradition of local cyclocross racing continues Saturday and Sunday October 20th and 21st with two great days of cx racing in CNY.

This year we return to Longbranch Park in Liverpool NY where the courses includes a mud bog, sand, challenging climbs and drops, and our favorite, Hecklers Hill.  We also have some great new sponsors and fun prizes this year.

Neutral support provided by Bike Loft East.

Race Registration:

Registation is open for both days on on BikeReg.  Additional races are only $10/day.  Don't wait, registration closes Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at 8:00 PM ET.

Current NYS CX Champions race for free! 

Spectators:

If you've never been to a cyclocross race, then this is the event for you!  Dust-off your cow bell, bring a lawn chair and hang-out to watch all of the fun.  Longbranch park provides plenty of great spots to watch the action!
