Today was an absolute PERFECT day to be on your bike. Seventeen others felt the same way and joined me to do the Lake Neatahwanta ride. I’ve never actually seen the lake on this ride, but it’s there… googling it I found that half is in the city of Fulton and the other half is in the town of Granby. Regardless, this is a nice ride on country roads in Onondaga and Oswego county. Six people did the 33 mile route and twelve did 45. On the longer ride, we experienced an irate pick-up truck driver who had to yell at us, not once, but twice. Other than that, there were no incidents and we all enjoyed the ride and company. Thanks to everyone for coming out today!
Only two more Friday rides left. In the past, if the weather holds, we sometimes get together and go anyway. Let’s hope it’s like that this year. In the meantime, it looks like a great weekend so get out there for The Windmills tomorrow and/or Skaneateles on Sunday.
