As usual Mother Nature is throwing us a mixed bag today. The chance of precipitation is about 30-40% at the start time with a near certainty of T-storms in the 2-4pm windown. The high temps, high humidity and low wind all bode for fast times. I'll send an update later in the day as we know more.
Some stunning occurrances in the Tour de France so far. Really hard to watch the bodies of these great athletes get strewn about like rag dolls. Truly amazing more riders haven't tapped out. How the likes of Gerant Thomas with a dislocated shoulder and Roglic with his skinned hip,etc can get back on the bike and work hard to try to reintegrate with the peloton is truly amazing. And there have been some truly remarkable efforts... Alaphilipe dessimating the field in the final climb of Stage 1, vanderPoel taking the yellow with two phenomenal efforts up the finishing climb in Stage 2 and then leading out for his team in Stage 3 so hard he almost looked like he could take the win himself.
Watching the skies...... keep ya posted.
