It was a very hot and humid evening but that didn’t stop at least one fast group from setting a blistering pace.
16 members and one guest braved the heat with rides ranging from 26-31 miles.
It is getting dark pretty early so time to get out those lights for the evening rides!
| From: jhorst5@PROTECTED All, I will be the ride leader for tomorrow evening’s Lafayette Rides. Seeing as sunset will be at 7:51 PM I will assume that most folks will be doing the 26 mile ride. I have a suggestion for extending this a couple of miles.Instead of turning left on Apulia Road, we can go right, take the first left at Cascade, take a left when that ends (it is a short road) onto Clark Hollow and follow that across 20 where it becomes Dodge Road and brings us to Apulia where we would take a right and continue into Jamesville.
This also avoids having to hit the brakes at the bottom of the hill on 20 to make a hard left onto Apulia. I look forward to seeing folks tomorrow evening. Jeff Horst
