The conditions Tuesday were pretty much as predicted. 74 degrees and a bit blustery - 13 mph NW
Our 5 combatants were up for the challenge. The fastest woman time (FWT) and overall time was clocked by the Amy Kneale who scorched the course in 24:38 (24.36mph). Both, she and Susan, practiced their tacking and jibing with their rear wheel disks in the blustery conditions. The fastest man time (FMT) was posted by Kurt Andersson who sliced and diced the course in a time of 25:17 (23.73mph). The fastest Junior was Jon Taber (RoadAero). He has been incredibly consistent and seems to be able to cheat the wind on blustery days. His time of 27:08 was only 5 seconds of his PR set earlier this year. Thus proving this capability.
Thanks to Tim Taber for acting as the timing backup system.
