There are too many ride options for me to try to guess how many of each will be needed, and my printer is being flaky. I highly recommend the Ride with GPS app that you can download for free through your club membership. If you prefer not to go with technology, there are maps and cue sheets available through the ride link below!

See you tomorrow. Probably a cool start, but looks to be another lovely day.

Hope to see a good turnout!

I’ve had several private messages regarding this ride.

Confirming that it is an 8:00 a.m. start time as stated on the club website. I have a music gig the night before (Burley’s Firehouse Pub in Jordan - come see us!) so this will probably be harder on me than anyone else! I’ll try to stay awake while riding. Those in the no drop group will take a nutrition break at about 20 - 22 miles.

Information about riding shorter than 35 and what a slow and easy average mph would be is posted on the club Facebook page. You can ride as fast as you want - I don’t care who’s out there ahead of me! If you’re a slower rider like me, you’ll probably want to be capable of 12 mph to ride the full 35 and make it home in time for an afternoon nap! But seriously, I like to get off the roads before people in cars start zipping around doing errands. It’s okay if you’re slower - just consider doing the one loop of the figure eight. There’s already at least one person planning on doing that. He’d enjoy your company.

Please don’t use this as your ride day map since there is scant detail, but it shows the recommended loop to cut the 35 mile ride to 17-ish miles.

To join us, no need to pre-register, just be at the starting location (link to maps below) in time to roll out at 8 a.m. Helmets are required. A bicycle is highly recommended!

I hope to see you Sunday!

Karen

Hi, I’m ride leader for this Sunday’s Oneida Lake - Cicero Swamp ride. I just wanted to get an early note out that the 35-mile ride will be no-drop. So if you normally avoid the weekend rides because you find yourself all alone at the back, please join me! If you need a shorter ride, it looks like you can easily ride a shorter loop that’s about half the distance. It’s a lovely area to ride, so hope to see you there!
