Hey Bob,

How did your ride go?

George and i didn't start til close to 10am.  
35 miles.  About 2450 ft if climbing. 70ft/mile about 15.0 mph ave

Included rd 4 and rd5 climb.   I was a minute faster on both compared to our ride in May.  I had dead legs that day due to a 5 mile run/walk prev day.   Rd5 actually was a PR.

I rode Gates east of Sweet.  It's graveled between Sweet and Henderson.  Not bad.  Firm with no loose piles at this point.  I won't hesitate to ride it again.

Sweet is also getting some gravel from at least Broadfield down to 173.  But again, firm and ridable and they didn't gravel the shoulder--which is really wide on Sweet Road.
