Salt City Cyclocross Spectacular day 1 is in the bag, and it was a fantastic day of racing at Longbranch park as we hosted the New York State Cyclocross Championship.  As opposed to all of the cold wet weekends we've had in the past for the CX race, the mostly sunny, dry and warm weather today was appreciated by all.

Tomorrow is day 2, and we can definitely use your help!  Racing starts at 9:00 am and we could use a few course marshals and folks to help race officials.  The big thing we need help with is course tear-down at the end of the day.  Last race ends at 2:30 pm and then we need to pull-up all the stakes and collect course tape...some extra people makes it very quick job.  So far we've had a grand total of 1 club volunteer show-up this weekend, and I know we can do way better than that.

It also looks like Sunday will be another nice day, so you should definitely head out to the park cheer on the racers!
