The sun is leaving us sooner so this was the last scheduled Wed ride of 2023
So 14 riders came out to enjoy a sort of coolish and some wind evening.
I had to push the group out onto the road to get them back before dark.
Too much bantering.
Somehow 11 of those were the quicker riders who averaged 22 or more MPH of the 32 mile or more range. Was it the flat terrain of the opportunity to move fast together.
The other 3 less quicker riders averaged 16 mph of the 28 mile variety.
At the end there was the oarmeal and raisin cookies
One rider came late so I traversed in reverse to find Mike H on Green Lakes Road with full lighting (good) who had hoped to catch the group. Yes it was dark at the time.
And another rider got lost and did 46 miles. Didn't know if he had lighting.
Don't forget to sign up for the Charity Ride on Saturday!
