July 7, 2024        Marble Farms Century Ride

5 members / each did 62 miles / total of 310 miles

Hot day, no known incidents

July 21, 2024      Two Lakes Metric Century

14 members and 1 guest rode a total of 852 miles ridden

Warm day, not as hot as recent weather, a little head wind off Otisco Lake

9 members and our guest rode 62 miles

3 members rode 50 miles

2 members rode 41 miles

No known incidents

July 27, 2024      Greek Peak – Marathon Tour

5 members / 3 did the 66 miles / 2 did 56 miles / total of 310 miles

Started cool then rose into the 80s, calm and sunny

A freshly paved section from McClean to Freeville was very nice but a several mile section of Marathon – McGraw Rd was very freshly chip sealed for a gravel feel

No reported bike or rider issues but this Ride with GPS course has two notable issues

1. Around Greek Peak the course map tries to take you down a side road (or at least it used to be a road) and the bridge is out. We should fix this so you just stay on 392.
2. Going through Cortland the course tries to take you down Main St the wrong way down a one way street. And Main St is torn up at the moment. I believe some folk use River Road to bypass Cortland and Homer. I tried that a few years ago but a bridge was out.
3. It may have been a bad weekend to traverse Homer as they had garage sale Saturday and traffic was heavy and squirrely with a constant need to watch for car doors opening.
