Seven riders gathered at a very crowded Lysander town park for the Wednesday night ride this week.

Temps were hovering around 92F at the start, for the warmest night since August of 2024.  The consensus was for taking it easy and doing the 34 mile route, but as we rode, the temp dropped, we found shade and the pace definitely picked up.

At the turn, several rides decided on a more bucolic and hillier return while the rest stuck with the official route…and were treated to some bone jarring fun with about 4 ½ miles of ground-up road along Rt 370. 

Overall, everyone who showed-up last night was treated to a great evening of cycling through CNY.   Everyone did a variation of the same route riding between 34 and 36 miles (242 miles total), with no mechanicals or incidents reported.
