Well, Mother Nature, again delivered a good night for the time trial. Temperature around 73 degrees and a fading light breeze of 4 mph out of E-NE. Rarely do we see the breeze from that direction. It set up a slight tailwind for the first 3 miles and apparently not much of a headwind on easterly portion of the course (5-8mile mark).
Four TTers rolled to the start line. Mike Hop brought out his speed rig as well as sporting his speedy socks and it paid off big time. He rocketed through the course with the FMT and a PR time of 25:35(24.41mph). He lowered his PR by 16 seconds. Ken T blasted through the course in a time that was his best since 2023 - his 4th best ever - 25:27(23.57mph) - only 12 seconds from his PR. Elliot caught the TT bug last week and came back for more. He lowered his PR by 25 seconds.
I would say the conditions Tuesday night were a 9/10. Similar to two weeks ago. Among the best of the TT season.
