Hey folks,

It's Fall, which means it's time to warm-up your cow bell for cyclocross season!

The club has a very long history of hosting CX racing in CNY going back to the 1970's, and the tradition continues this year on Saturday October 17th with the 2026 Syracuse Cyclocross GP.

First and foremost, if you have a CX, MTB or fat bike you should seriously consider registering and racing (see details below).  Otherwise you should grab your cow bell and head-out on Saturday and cheer on the racers.

Volunteers:
OCC members are the lifeblood of all of our events, and our races are no different.  We'll be setting-up the course on Friday afternoon (16 Oct) in Longbranch Park, and tearing down Saturday afternoon.  A good crew makes this a relatively quick task, and it's important to note that the days of hammering in wooden stakes is long gone, these days we use step-in stakes and cones to mark the course.

If you can help, please let me know so that we can organize the set-up as efficiently as possible.

2026 Upstate CX Race Series

We’re very excited to announce that the Onondaga Cycling Club and the Marbletown Volunteer Fire Department have partnered for the Upstate CX Race Series, for a fun weekend of racing, October 17th and 18th. Points are awarded by finish placement for each race, with medals awarded at the Marbletown Madness CX race.  Full details provided via the links below.
