Good Morning,
Yesterday’s great weather brought out a great group of riders. We had 40 members turn out with no guests in attendance. The riders covered a total of 602 miles on 4 different courses.
Tom Hotaling led an ambitious group of experienced riders on a 22 mile run on a very challenging course. They all did well. Mike Lyon had large group of riders who opted for the mid-level ride that covered a distance of 17 miles while Mark Perrin of The Bikery led a group on the easy 10 mile all highway loop. I had a sizable group of riders who opted for the easy paced 9 mile canal/highway loop. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
To top it all off, Sue Fenocchi brought a Gifford’s Ice Cream treat for everyone…strawberry shortcake was the flavor…yummmm. Of course, Lee sent a container of banana chocolate chip oatmeal cookies to go with the ice cream that were great. These treats gave everyone a good reason to stay around after the ride.
There were no mechanicals or flat tires reported for the evening but one vehicle lockout. AAA to the rescue.
Thanks for coming…see you all next week.
Ciao,
Tony
