The ride starts at Beaver Lake and heads to the Fly By Night Cookie Company in Fair Haven. You may want to take along a couple of bucks to buy a cookie.
Note that the park does have $4 fee collected on exit. The park is free to Friends of Beaver Lake members and veterans and active military. They have a new gate this year that takes quarters, ones, fives and credit cards. (the front desk can make change)
Think of the fee as a donation to a great facility that provides a home for wildlife and educates kids and adults about the natural world.
