It was a very pleasant night for the Time Trial last night.  Temperatures hovered around 80 degrees with very low humidity.  I was concerned about the wind as I was sweeping the course.  The wind gusts felt like they were over 15 mph.  It seemed that this might be one of the few nights that the wind would adversely affect the riders.  

By the time I got to the start and signed people in at 6:15ish, the winds had dropped appreciably.   When the TTers set off it appeared to be about 5 mph from the NW.  Another good night!

We had a season high of 12 combatants roll to the line - 5 were new to the course.  The fastest rider of of the night was Alex Johnson who lowered his fastest time for 2016 by 39 seconds by posting a time of 23:30 (25.52 mph).  Gordy Pynn set a PR by 41 seconds with the 2nd fastest time of the night, 23:53 (25:12 mph).   Karen Esposito has the fastest woman time of 27:06 (22.14 mph).   She finished 4 seconds ahead of Annie Porter, who took 1:12 off of her time from two weeks with a 27:11 (22:07 mph).  The fastest Junior rider was Mariana Rinaldo with a time of 29:37 (20.26 mph) - 15 seconds off of her PR.

There were several comments about how fast the course felt.  I'd give the course conditions a rating of an 8.5 out of 10.  

Next week,  we will not have the Time Trial due to the Corporate Challenge.  So, go out and practice and come on back in two weeks!!!
