The weather gods graced us again with another nice night for a Time Trial !!   Not perfect, but decent.  We had a 5-6 mph breeze from the unusual direction of East-SouthEast.   The times seemed to be pretty fast.  Hard to tell if it was due to the change in wind direction or if everyone is simply getting fitter.    We all hope for the later.

We had 13 TTers roll to the line last night.  That eclipsed our TT East best attendance by one (Our 2016 best is the 19 that showed up at the Lafayette course on June 21st).   We had 3 guests show up to participate.   Welcome !  Join the club and beat those times!   We have at least six weeks left in the TT season.

Without further ado....

The fastest rider of the night was Gordy Pynn.  He annilhilated (got to get out my Thesaurus to look up equiv to "destroyed")  the course with a time of 23:50 (25.17 mph) - missing his PR by 7 seconds.   The fastest woman was Amy Kneale, who obliterated the course in 25:30 (23.53 mph) - a PR by 33 seconds.  She did this despite having raced a multi day stage race over this past weekend.

We had four others hit PRs as well. Steve Plante, fresh off of his Lake Placid IM only 9 days ago, blew away his previous best by 17 seconds.   Ken Toscano slashed his 2015 PR by 14 seconds.  And Jill Walsh rounding out her for m and riding a new rig for Rio, demolished her PR by 2:01 !!!   Ben Salibra tweaking his fixie gearing took off another 20 seconds from his previous weeks PR.    Others got close to their respective PRs -   Sam Sampere (another LP IM competitor of 9 days ago) missed by 10 seconds,  Dave Grieves and Tim Leonard missed by 15 seconds.

Notes:
Specials thanks to Pete for repainting the course last week for Mariana's practice run.
Apologies to Ken, the first finisher, for witnessing my melt down when my lap top didn't calculate his time properly and I had to manually record the rest of the finishers.
Apologies to all for  the delay last night in getting the results to you.  I know what I did wrong with the timing program. Won't happen again.
Note to self - don't drive so far off to the side of the road at the finish line - pretty scary feeling my car start to tip into the ditch as I see Ken blasting down the last mile in my rear view mirror. Yikes!

Now the results:
