Hi Everyone,
It was a great night to ride last night. Everyone who attended had an opportunity to once again enjoy some of the nicest cycling weather we have had in the last couple of years. There were 40 members who came out last night. There were no guests at the ride. The 40 riders rode a total of 664 miles.
We had our normal choice of rides last night. Tom Hotaling lead his group of experienced folks on a 24 mile loop that had some serious hills. Mike Lyon had a group intermediate cyclists that covered a total of 20 miles on a not so hilly course. In Mark Perrin’s absence, Dean Connery and Al Storings had a group of riders that rode 10 or 13 miles on an easy highway route while I had a small group who chose the canal and its mix of towpath and highway for an easy 10 mile loop. Everyone was able to ride a route that fit their abilities or interests.
After the ride, we had a good selection of cookies, breads, bars and pop-sickles to satiate everyone’s sweet took cravings. Thank you to all those who brought these treats J.
See you all next week,
Ciao,
Tony
