How Far Will You Ride for a Beer? The Point to Pint Ride is on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the new Empire Farmstead Brewery in Cazenovia. New venue means all new routes, but the same award winning, hand crafted ales and locally sourced food at the best post-ride party in Central New York.
- The Point to Pint Ride Full Pint- 100 miles with just about 6000 feet of ascent for the hill loving cyclist. You'll wind your way out to Hamilton, Oriskany Falls and up through the windmills of Fenner before returning to Empire Farmstead Brewery in time to brag over a fine, hand-crafted ale at the post-ride party. - The Point to Pint Ride Half Pint- 50 miles through some of the prettiest rolling countryside and picturesque lakes Madison County has to offer. With a total ascent just over 3000 feet, this ride makes you earn your post ride beers at Empire Farmstead Brewery, but won't leave you too tired to enjoy them! - The Point to Pint Ride Sampler- 16 miles and change with a total ascent of about 550 feet! This course for the guys and gals who love beer way more than riding their bike. Beginner and family friendly. Intersections will have course marshals to help you find your way back to Empire Farmstead Brewery in time for the post-ride party at 3pm! The Point to Ride helps local challenged athletes continue to participate in the sport of cycling despite facing tremendous obstacles. Past recipients include Shawn Cheshire (2013), Jill Walsh (2014), Erin Scala (2014) and Tim Woods (2015). We are very proud that this event has raised close to $10,000 for these athletes.
