Hi Everyone,
Well, last night was a chilly one but it did not stop the folks who came out to ride at the Slow n Easy West ride. We had 21 members and 2 guests come out for a total of 23 riders. We had a choice of rides for everyone.
Roland Pearson and Al Storrings lead an easy canal route ride while Mark Perrin of The Bikery and Dean Connery had a group that followed an easy paced road route. Mike Lyon led a group on an intermediate level while Tom Hotaling and his “group” followed a faster paced route for experienced riders. The four groups rode a total of 366 miles last night. As the days are getting longer, Mike said that he would be lengthening his routes to utilize the longer daylight periods.
As I predicted…no one got wet last night but it was pretty cool. Remember, I said dress warmly. Next week should see warmer nicer weather according to the current forecast. Keep your fingers crossed.
A big thanks to Mary Shick Jeavons for bringing her delicious chocolate chip banana bread as a treat. Everyone enjoyed it!
See you all next week,
Ciao,
Tony
