It's that time of year again!
Starting Tuesday, May 16th, the OCC will be holding the weekly OCC Time Trials. Like last, we will be running it exclusively on the East course (with the exception of using the Lafayette course for 2-3 practice sessions prior to the Race Weekend TT). This TT course is considered is a very fast course with only right hand turns and decent road surfaces.
And, of course! The weather forecast is promising.... mostly sunny, 68 degrees with WNW wind at 8 mph. Let's hope the good weather trend on Tuesday evenings continues this year. We have only had one weather related cancellation in two years! In addition, we have had only a handful of evenings when the wind was greater than 10mph and/or temps below 60 degrees.
Time Trial course details:
The course is 10.0 miles long, extremely flat and consists of only right hand turns. In brief, it starts at the end of Chestnut Ridge near Lakeport Rd, runs west 3.0 miles to a right on Marsh Mill, at approx 5.0 miles a right turn on Kirkville Rd, almost immediately turn on to Moore Rd, 2.0 miles later at approx 7.0 mile mark turn right on Smith Ridge Rd, approx 1.0 mile later turn right on Black Creek Rd. and finish approx 2 miles later.
