The paddle fest is 8/19th.The OLCC will send out invitation emails week of July 4th.The RSVP date is July 7th.Everyone required to RSVP.I think all of you have your own canoe/kayak.
To be listed on the email invitation list:
SPotriku@PROTECTED you are with NMCCC.The paddle fest is an OLCC-NMCCC event. The event will have water craft limits.Make sure you're on the email invitation list.It will have all the details included. It is being coordinated by OLCC.They are refining a few final details.
We are still looking for a volunteer to be last person down river as sweeper making sure everyone is off river.Very important function. The event begins 9AM @ Airport Road dock and concludes at the Honeywell visitors center via paddling down the west shore ending at 1PM.Lunch & refreshments served. There is NO rain date.Goes forth rain or shine but cancelled if dangerous weather conditions. If there are very rough lake waters the event will end at the Lakeland canoe launch site.
OLCC is checking into shuttle service to move people around. There are no provisions for shuttling your canoes & kayaks.
Look for the invitation in 15 days or so.
That's it.
Fred.
