Hi Everyone,
Sorry to be so late in getting this report out. Last night was a great evening for a bike ride and we had 40 members and one guest come out to ride. With such nice weather I was actually a little surprised that we only had 41 riders. I thought
that after the record number of ugly ride nights we have had, everyone would jump on the good night and come out to ride. Some of our regulars from last season have yet to show this year…looking for their friendly faces. But 41 is respectable J.
The riders broke into three ride groups. Mark Perrin from the Bikery lead a group on a slow highway ride of 10 miles. He was assisted by Dean Connery, Roland Pearson, Al Storrings and myself. No one wanted to do the canal ride. Glen Larson filled for Mike Lyon who was out of town on business and lead a group on a 25 mile loop while Tom Hotaling led his group on option 4 with a twist covering 28 miles. All totaled, the group covered 750 miles.
This was the night and the weather we have all been waiting for. Let’s hope next week is just as nice.
Ciao,
Tony
