Hi Everyone,
Sorry I did not get this out yesterday…too many things going on…but here is the report on our last SnEW ride.
We had 47 members and two guests come out for a total of 49 riders. This was one of our best turnouts so far on this rainy wet season. This group rode a total of 903 miles for the night. The weather was good to us because those scattered showers never came our way. It was a great evening to ride.
The 49 riders broke out into 3 different ride groups. No one wanted to do the canal loop. Tom Hotaling took the advanced “special” folks on a 21 mile loop…up and down those hills. It was a good work out. Mike Lyon had an intermediate level group that covered about 20 miles and Dean Connery with the help of Al Storrings,
Roland Pearson and myself led an easy group that had both a 10 and a 13 mile option. There was a ride for everyone.

There were great treats for everyone upon their return to the park: popsicles, sweet juicy watermelon and some cookies. The cold treats went down real easy. There is nothing like a nice cold treat after a ride on a hot day.
There are only 5 rides left for the SnEW season…come out and ride them while
you can!
Ciao,
Tony
