The forecast has degraded even further... tornado watch,  strong storms from 4-7pm.

I think it is prudent to cancel tonights TT.   The wind is out of the SW anyway...  which means slow times...

I know if the wind was projected to come out of the E or SE some would want to risk it for a PR *;) winking

See ya next week!

Today's forecast continues to look dicey.   85% chance of Strong Storms at 5 - 6pm.  Potential high winds.

Keep ya posted!

While writing the results summary in a sleepy haze Friday night,  I failed to note that our first time TTer,  marathoner Grant Allen, set the year's best time for non-aero set-up.  His time was 26:29 (22.65 mph).  Nicely done Grant!

Tomorrow's weather is looking rather grim.  85% chance of T-storms at 6 pm - 7 pm.  We shall see if that indeed is what we get.

Mother Nature threatened to ruin our Tuesday evening, but never materialized into anything more than a few showers that temporarily wet the course in a few spots.   By start time, the roads were completely dry and the breeze had dropped to around  mph NW.  Another decent night on the Chitt TT course.

Eight riders (one first -timer) thumbed their noses at the weather gods and were treated to very good conditions.   The fastest man time was posted by Tiago Barreira who is rounding back into form and pulverized the course in a time of 23:25 (25.62 mph).  That time was 16 seconds off of his PR from two years ago.  The FWT was claimed by the consistent Erika Z who streaked to a 24:28 (24.52 mph) - 12 seconds of of her PR.  Glen Larson eclipsed his previous PR by 1 second and  Stephanie Tashjian tied her PR.

See you next week!
